Meisje aan de Overkant is naast een fantastische roman ook een tijdreis doorheen de jaren zestig van vorige eeuw. Ik was toen twaalf en naast lezen van boeken en tv kijken was muziek mijn grootste ontspanning en passie. Elk hoofdstuk van de roman begint met een quote uit een jaren zestig song. Je kan ze hier allemaal beluisteren. Geniet van de weirdo kapsels, de onaardse plunjes, de malle dansjes, maar vooral van de onaards goede muziek.
